Initially you will be able to store text emails only but very soon we will be adding audio and video storage capabilities.

Initially all messages are being sent by email. In a few months we will also offer to send paper documents as well as CDs and DVDs.

At the time you set up a message we will inform the recipient that he may get a message from you in the future and he/she should whitelist our email address to ensure the email does not get blocked by a junk filter.

You can set up as many preventive measures as you want to. For example you can choose a three step approach:

1) Three email confirmation requests have been unanswered
2) You did not respond to an email sent to your cell phone
3) A third person - your 'trustee' - confirms that the message should be sent.

Each step can be repeated as many times as YOU like to be 1,000% sure the message(s) should be sent.

Storing emails is free. If you would like to store videos and other large file (such as audio) There are small monthly service fees for storage and bandwdith costs.

You might want to consider signing up for Obitua to ensure that people read what YOU want after you are gone.
